Two and a Half

Amidst packing, running errands, paying bills, making tons of photocopies, reading the required materials for the "class", I'm completely scatterbrained and yet totally organized.  That may not make sense so I'll rephrase: I'm so well organized that I've found I'm completely frazzled without things to worry about!
I'll be packing my suitcase and carry-on bag on Saturday before the flight at 9 p.m.  Pretty much everything that will be packed in them is organized or at least on one of my many lists.  Here are my last few dilemmas: what to wear on the plane, whether or not to pack my laptop and what snacks to pack.  These are life's important questions here, people.
Choosing snacks has so far been the easiest.  I ended up with Nutella To Go, a mini bag of pistachios, a box of Special K Snacks Multi Grain Crackers, a bar of dark chocolate in case my sweet tooth acts up, and a few granola bars.  Sound like a good variety?  I may grab an apple or something as well.
I spend quite a bit of time on the computer on a day-to-day basis.  Bringing my computer with me will allow me to blog, plus I always feel safer when my pictures are backed up on my computer (I'm the idiot who has accidentally chosen "Delete all" on the camera).   Bringing it won't mean that I will have to forego anything fun; I'll mainly use it for blogging and that's it. However, the downside is that I will have to lug it around the airports, from bus to hotel, and vice versa.  I can leave it locked in my suitcase on the bus and checking it through security wasn't too much hassle last time.  It's a lot of weight to be carrying around though.  I'm still undecided on the subject.
Deciding what to wear on the plane has been the most stressful part of this entire process so far.  I haven't been able to choose something to wear because I'm afraid I'll be too cold or too hot.  I don't usually mind layering but I always get hot in the airport, running around, and then I freeze to death on the plane.  I want to be comfortable on the red-eye but I also need to look somewhat presentable when I arrive because we'll be headed straight from the airport to the museums.  I've been having nightmares about it; I'll wake up in the middle of the night and start digging through my closet at three in the morning.  I finally decided on yoga capris with a tank top, a button-down chambray top that's super comfortable with a grey knit cardigan, and my raincoat in my bag.  I normally try to wear my heaviest shoes (in this case my running sneakers), but they'll be too clunky so I'll pack them this time.
Two and a half days left to go!  I'm exhausted and I still need to do some major reading, but I'm so excited I can barely sleep!
